(Toronto, ON), July 11, 2012 – Cido Research, a leading independent provider of global market research services today announced that it has acquired Matrix Research Ltd., a long-established Canadian market research company.
Established in 1991, Matrix provides data collection and analysis via online, CATI and mail surveys. The company’s Thornhill call center supports more than 30 languages and calls to all regions of the world. In addition, Matrix has developed and owns EVA (the Ethnic Voice Accord), Canada’s leading panel of ethnic and new Canadians. EVA is the source for research firms interested in the burgeoning ethnic market in Canada.
“This was an important strategic acquisition for us,” said Roland Klassen, Managing Director of Cido Research. “Matrix and Cido serve the same markets, so this enhances our delivery capabilities tremendously. And EVA is an asset that we will expand and develop from its current leadership position.”
The management and operations teams at Matrix will remain in place, and clients will continue to experience the same high level of quality and dedication as in the past.
Established in 2009 through the combination of Acrobat Research, Krämer Marktforschung and Cimigo Ltd, Cido Research has emerged as the leading provider of global market research services, with experience extending back to 1986.
