All respondents were taken through a stringent screening process to ensure every participant in the focus groups was able to articulate their thoughts on the next trends for mobile phone development, i.e., coming up with revolutionary concepts rather than evolutionary. The client had an established brand and wanted to explore how a new packaging could enhance the brand and make it more appealing to younger age groups.
IDIs in central facility combined with an in-hall test which included an eyetracking exercise. The key challenge was to conduct 950 interviews in 10 days, due to continual delays in the creation of the packaging.
